Few times since Top Gun: Maverick’s release have I uttered the phrase “movies are so back.” Reader…movies are so back

I’ve heard from someone I trust that CB’s outfits here are top tier and I’d say the movie is worth it for that alone

The last portion kinda fumbles a bit but everything else is great. I like that the movie seems genuinely interested in answering the questions of the premise. There’s a very short dream sequence that made the entire thing worth it

Most unrealistic scene was when a DJ let a good song play all the way through

A perfect movie almost guaranteed to make you cry at some point, but I will say something that might make people angry at me: this is basically Rick and Morty for people that are too cool to (admit they) watch Rick and Morty. Part of me wishes I had never seen that show so I could enjoy this movie more. I am not doing the “boss baby vibes” tweet - this movie genuinely feels like certain episodes of that show.
