An awesome hour-long documentary. The “movie brats” of new Hollywood basically got to the point they are now because they were unhappy with traditional studio politics and conventions. Before they became the certified legends they’re known as today, they dared to work outside of the old Hollywood system at basically the infancy of their careers…it gives me a strange sense of hope and encouragement as a no-budget indie filmmaker living in a time where it feels like a similar revolution…
