  Beautiful film all around. It’s incredible to me that the weakest part of this movie is the storytelling/writing. The DP deserves like 3 awards on their own, same with sound, colors, acting. The first half was a perfect film, the second half less so and yet I’m inclined to round up the difference. 

  I know people (myself included) are epic-adverse nowadays but I love it when a long runtime justifies itself like this.

  Any rating anyone gives this movie is objectively correct. There’s so much good and yet also so much bad. But I think liked it. Maybe solely because I firmly believe weird ass movies like this one are rare and should be appreciated.

  There’s so much this guy wanted to pack into this movie and I’m not sure that it all works. It was even slow at times. Yet here I am giving it a pretty favorable rating, unable to put…
