  Not as dated as one would feel, but at the same time, a model of its time. Cheesy, over simplified, stylish. The soundtrack is unique and memorable, but I will never get over the comical ways they try to show off what hacking is, or the way these high schoolers oogle Acid Burn's laptop. Even watching this when it was 5 or 6 years old in the early 00's, it was comical. Now, nearly 30 years later, it's nostalgia.

  Only complaint I have is I felt like I've seen this before, be it Hamlet or The Lion King. But this is pure cinema, and a worthy addition to the history of cinema. The first half runs slow, then begins to build, but the final 20 minutes had me in awe.
