  I feel like I’ve just read a novel. Narration can make or break a film, but this is gooooood stuff! The first gangster film I’ve watched and liked immediately. Sharon Stone gives a killer performance, and you know that because her character makes you want to pay for De Niro’s divorce for him, even though he’s minted. Every character is flawed as hell, and it is difficult to route for anybody at all at some points, but it all fits…
