Licorice Pizza 2021
When the opening scene had Nina Simone AND medium format cameras playing in the background, I knew I was going to like this film.
I found it a little long and didn’t think they needed the kiss but overall, very enjoyable. Loved that there was pimpled skin and normal looking bodies on camera and oh that dreamy 35mm film grain. *drool
1/2 points extra due to the belly laughs brought on by John Michael Higgins.
