  It’s interesting how we humanize the mind of animals. Throughout the movie I wanted to know what EO was thinking. Is he capable of understanding his circumstances? Is there a purpose he wants to achieve? I think we see glimpses of this when he seemingly reciprocates love and affection for his caretaker at the beginning of the movie.

  When EO gets his ass beat we see a shot of a Boston Dynamics looking thing. EO is a real, sentient creature…
