This one....ehhh didn't do it for me. This felt like Midsommar but without any of the intrigue. Ayo Edebiri and John Malkovich are both fantastic of course. The production values are great and there's some genuinely intriguing moments, and the soundtrack was actually really good (that's what happens when you bring in Nile Rodgers). However, as a whole, the story as a whole felt underbaked. All of the tropes we've seen before -- freaky ass cults, weird personal space invasions,…

Espionage movies rule!!!! I was a bit iffy going in but this kept me on the edge of the seat with an interesting cast of characters and an intriguing plot. Really enjoyed Cate Blanchett and Michael Fassbender -- they have great chemistry together and I'm surprised they weren't paired up in a film earlier. The whole cast was great -- Tom Burke, Naomie Harris and Regé-Jean Page especially. Pierce Brosnan being in this kinda felt like a passing of the torch considering he was...well you know who. Overall, great stuff. Go see it!

Brilliant film. The story is a bit tough to follow but where the film really shines are the action sequences. All of them are fantastic and Tom Cruise is definitely one of the best leading men in Hollywood today. I'm not sure how they'll top this one in terms of action, if they ever make M:I 7. Henry Cavill was great in this movie; his character was questionable but at least he got more to do here than in Justice…

Also it's one of the best space exploration films I've ever seen. Brad Pitt does so much and gives such a spectacular performance. On a technical level, the film is terrific, especially the editing. The journey to Neptune sequence was cinematic gold. The score is fantastic and compliments the tone of the movie perfectly. The story is also great; I loved how it dealt with isolation, even when not in space, and the bond between fathers and sons. Great film, one of the best I've seen this year.

Whoever led the marketing department for this movie needs to be fired
