  This is what art feels like. Art has the power to make you feel. Stunning cinematography, a touching soundtrack, meticulous editing, and performances so raw they hurt — they touch. This film does what movies are meant to do: connect, resonate, and make you live through them.

  Coming from a Jewish family, fourth generation of immigrants, I felt like I was part of the trip too — generations retracing history together, carrying the weight of what came before while trying to understand what it means to belong.

  With an excellent cinematography, well-executed shots and camera movements. The actors were perfectly cast, and I’d say most of them stood out, deserving recognition—not just the leads but also the supporting roles. While the pacing might feel a bit slow at times, it complements the script, which is cleverly written or adapted. The soundtrack is amazing. Elements such as the production design, a carefully kept color palette, and the blend of different languages and cultures make it a richer experience.

  Los sketches de los hermanos son durísimos: irónicamente cómicos, pero también dolorosos en el sentirse identificado. La película logra capturar la idiosincrasia dominicana y las dinámicas de las familias de clase media.

  El trabajo actoral es impecable, con interpretaciones que transmiten autenticidad y un manejo del humor tan natural que parece sacado de cualquier conversación cotidiana. El trabajo con la musicalización y la mezcla de sonidos, así como la producción, también son de destacar. 

  Me encantaría que un extranjero al verla…
