  that opening scene…. with the Statue of Liberty….. girl….. CINEMA. There are so many layers to this film. It deconstructed the American dream. It showed the horrors people fleeing genocide experience. The art direction, FUCK!!! The three hours flew by. I could’ve sat for longer.

  Sofia Coppola, THE WOMAN THAT YOU ARE!!!! Last lines almost made me cry. Coppola made me feel like I was in those heels on the carpet. You feel like you’re with her in her solitude. 

  Elvis was abusive and a predator and I’m glad this film exposes that. 

  Need to watch it again asap
