had no idea what I was walking into, didn’t see a trailer, completely shocked all around. Love Sophie and Harvey, loved that the ending was told to us in the beginning but I was still on the edge of my seat and completely forgot that the ending was already told to us. fuck men frfr!!!

Wow. Now this is the spicy content worth raving about!! It genuinely explores themes of sexuality, desire, kink, aging, vulnerability, conflicting values, womanhood, power dynamics, subversion, play…they were discovering parts of each other with each other. I’m like “she deserves this!!” Of course, she could have done this in a different way (communicated her desire up front to her husband) but she was full of shame, and didn’t entirely know exactly what she even wanted. It needed to happen this way so she could finally liberate herself.
