  this film had a beautiful plot line, lovely characters and cinematography but how can such transphobic representation be forgiven? The fact that the two trans characters are constantly misgendered and deadnamed plus the fact that one of them is dying of AIDS and the other is introduced by being beaten up, not to mention they are both prostitutes, just perpetuates derogatory, harmful language and ideas around trans characters. Plus why is this film dedicated to 'men who act like women'??…

  this film made me so happy to be queer, it just showed this loving, amazing side to the community whilst also dealing with some hard-hitting realities of being queer. definitely one of my top ten films.
