The French Dispatch 2021
Symmetry and colors (& lack thereof) - The French Dispatch is of course characterized by what I love about Wes Anderson films. I truly wanted to enjoy this more than I did, but in the end it wasn’t able to fully capture my attention.
My favorite story was the first- a “psychopathic murderer” artist imprisoned in an insane asylum. I loved his eccentric agent, played by my favorite Adrian Brody. I enjoyed watching the prisoner’s relationship with his muse-of-few-words, Simone.…
