  i feel almost disturbed by how much i liked this movie. immaculate storytelling, passively devastating. the villain was capitalism all along.

  third time seeing this and truly it feels like a favorite record in that every replay brings up a new emotion or discovery. this time, i cried about loss and choked laughing at a stuffed giraffe. idk man watching this feels like being pulled out to sea by a riptide and spat into the liminal outdoor spaces where you built whole worlds as a child. and in that moment you realize those spaces are the closest thing to home you’ll ever have.
