  I was always puzzled or frustrated with that ending, just never sat with me and watching it a second time I’m glad I was actually watching it and got curious and looked it up and found that theirs a book version but it’s weird that they ended the movie like that cause in the book that doesn’t happen at all and they ended up just running away together, but I’ll just imagine that the movie ends with them running away together and living their best lives, they just always have to make the endings depressing asf in gay movies :/

  I had to watch this a few times to understand that she’d been dead the whole time or most likely a spirit who couldn’t comprehend that they were dead and died of heartbreak which is terrible

  The ending is what really got me; her walking back after saying goodbye and crying in his shoulders and the part where he says, “I didn’t realize how getting to know your husband would hurt so much” STOPPPP and how the conversation went onwards was so lovely but also so heartbreaking don’t even get me started on when they say ”you're dreaming in a language that i can’t understand” GOODBYE , and I loved how the movie gave a scene…
