She's Out of My League 2010
Almost too quirky for its own good. Nothing beats the scene where he introduces her to his family in terms of comedy which is a shame. The third act just drags on and on. I don't think these two are good for each other if im being honest.

Upgrade 2018
Drove over an hour just to see one of my more anticipated films this year and I was not disappointed. Boasting some incredible production design, gore, and camera techniques it more than makes up for the somewhat basic revenge plot. Ending really impressed me and I’m excited to see what Leigh Whannell does next. Wish it had a bit more action.

Boarding School 2018
This film definitely has some interesting ideas and is chock full of old school slasher vibes, but it doesn't quite know how to bring them all together coherently. Its not afraid to put it all out there which I commend, but it just feels overly long and really lags in the second act. It earns some points for that ballsy final act which left me feeling that the film is better than it actually is. I would still strangely recommend this, solely for the fact that it feels different enough from modern horror films.
