  I get a lot of the negativity surrounding this movie. On one hand, I like that it sticks to its focus on journalism and seeing the war through the lens of our main team of characters. However, much of this movie feels empty and even uninteresting at times. Jessie Plemons kills it as usual even with his limited screen time.

  Could write several paragraphs but I’ll try to keep it short. Chazelle and Hurwitz’s appreciation for jazz music shines through more so in this film than any other I’ve seen from the two. City of Stars, Audition, and the opening scene are obvious standouts for me. Just finished it and I can’t wait to watch it again.
