  What a treat. Eggers has done it again with this fantastic remake of an original classic. Dialogue was fantastic. Although at times in theatres I struggle to fully make out what’s being said and wish the theatres had subs all the time. Lily Rose was phenomenal as the lead and Willem Dafoe when he finally joins the story really does an incredible job carrying the second half of the film in my humble opinion. All in all, would watch again. Don’t know if it tops The Witch but jeez is it close.

  Strong performances from the leads especially Ralph. Dialogue was excellent. Absolutely loved the shot of the cardinals walking with umbrellas slowly filling the screen top down. I did not hate the twist but it fell flat for me. Overall pleasant viewing.

  Alien: Romulus 2024

  Took me a few minutes to realize that the main girl was not in fact Millie Bobby Brown. She was enjoyable though besides the elevator scene that was just stupid. Overall pleasant addition to the Alien franchise and enjoyable watch. Lastly I want to push every button in that spaceship.
