The Last of the Sea Women 2024
This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.
So moving! Teared up almost all the way through. Those who know me know I don’t usually tear up so it means a lot! The vitality, strength and passion of the Haenyeo were so well expressed through the film. I think the documentary nailed everything it aimed to do and honoured the culture (as far as I know) so respectfully and earnestly. So happy to be able to be at the premiere of this film.
