  Right before this movie started I texted a girl asking her out. Halfway through I had to piss and saw she said no but still fucking loved this movie. And that’s what cinema is for baby!

  A revenge story you've probably seen before but done with the flair of Ridley Scott. Filmmaking in this is pretty impeccable. Unlike some of the more recent films from Scott, I feel like every scene has a great drive for the story. Also really loved the score. Really tied everything together and conveyed that epic scale.

  I mean really what can I say about this. I’ve seen this likely 25-30 times now, and it’s the movie that made me love movies. It has some of the best pacing I’ve ever seen, and the final scene in this is one of the best ever made. Two actors giving career defining performances, and a young, hungry director with such an insanely tight script. I mean every time I watch this I’m blown away.
