Do you think the people who booed Dylan on that UK tour lie about it now when they tell people they saw him at the peak of his popularity? The 'judas' jibe is the most famous invective directed at him, but please reserve a special place in your heart for the fan who called him a 'fake neurotic' - I'm still trying to unpack what that actually means.

Fuck it, it’s a five-star movie.
I get why people wouldn’t dig this movie. It’s too self-referential and doesn’t contain or isn’t interested in pushing the action envelope in the same way that the original was but, it’s so rare to see a blockbuster with such a personal story to tell, that I can overlook what it isn’t and just love what it is – a beautiful, heartfelt tribute to the power of the creative act that’s so in love with its characters that it’s willing to bite the hand that feeds it to keep their legacy alive.
