The Witches 1990
I love a movie that knows kids can stand to be a little scared. Really fun and totally wild. Not sure why Angelica Huston was doing a Madeline Kahn-in-a blazing-Saddles voice when her own would have been perfect. The little boy is cute and so are the mice. Fun real effects.

I generally don’t write reviews for movies I didn’t enjoy, but I feel like my time was wasted and I’m pissed. It’s quite normal to yell at characters in a horror movie “don’t go in there!” etc., but the characters’ actions were completely illogical and I couldn’t suspend my disbelief. My list of grievances:
-I’m not opposed to misdirection, but there is so much that leads nowhere. Who is Marcus? Why is Keith having night terrors? Why are the doors…
