Watched film #2000 = Y2K
I haven’t laughed out loud at a movie by myself like this in a long time. I genuinely think it’s fantastic, nostalgic, beautiful art. I also think it’s bad. But it tries to be bad, and succeeding in this is its triumph. It is so self-confident, and that makes me happy. It made me feel like I was watching direct-to-video stoner comedies as a kid again. It is bad and unhinged and joyful and imaginative. I don’t know what else to tell you. I am also exactly the target audience for this. Thank you Kyle Mooney 💙
