The Old Woman with the Knife 2025
Pretty enjoyable to watch with some decent twists and exciting violence, but felt a little too dragged out for my liking. Loved the simple references and homages but struggled to find its own voice in the mix. Lee Hye-young was amazing, as was Kim Sung-cheol. Mainly happy to see the revival of assassin films.

But actually I did love the progression of time and the complexity of these characters morals. The varying levels of homophobia they faced and how closeting themselves came out in different forms of neglect of loved ones and toxic masculinity really shows that these issues effects everyone around those who face these prejudices.
