A man stuck between life and death

I heard that I wouldn’t be disappointed if I watched this… Yes, they were right. Extremely original idea, probably one of the most original films I’ve seen. Very intense as well. This film is also incredibly deep and what it shows and discusses about not just life and death, but past and future of our world.

I have to really give this movie credit with its original visuals on how heaven looks. Colors…

Outside of Vegas, I never knew that nuns could be attractive.

One of Scorsese’s favorite movies. I was looking forward towards seeing this movie for a while and I loved it. This is now one of my favorite movies of all time. I think Michael Powell is an overlooked director these days.

Speaking of attractive, this is one of the most beautiful movies I’ve ever seen. This is probably the most beautiful film up to this point, yes, even more…

I’m a huge fan of Cormack McCarthy. My favorite book of all time is ‘Blood Meridian’ a book so awesome that it’s practically unadaptable. Now I love the book ‘The Road’ and the graphic novel. I personally love ‘The Road’ (the book) slightly more than ‘No Country For Old Men’. Movie wise is different.

Which leads to the movie. I was surprised with how good it truly was and how sad it was. Is it as good as the book?…

It’s funny, back in the Midsummer of 2013 my family and I went to go see ‘Pacific Rim’ which one of the best theater experiences I’ve ever had. Plus, it was at Cinnabar. But the icing on the cake was when I saw the trailer for ‘Prisoners’. I don’t know why but that trailer really stuck out to me and I wanted to see it but I couldn’t because I was 12.

I never got to see this movie and…

Really wanted to see this movie for a really long time, but never got around to it. Was it worth the wait? YES! Reminds a lot of ‘Nightcrawler’ and especially ‘Baby Driver’. I love both of those features. But this is the first out of the three. Strangely feels like a non-canonical trilogy in some sense. I do like this more than ‘Baby Driver’, idk about ‘Nightcrawler’ though.

I heard from some people when this first came out that they…

This review is late I know. But I did see this movie opening weekend. So happy I saw it. This movie set an amazing tone of horror and suspense. I would say that this movie is the 3rd best in the Alien series.

I love the suspense, horror, the atmosphere. I mean hey the creatures and sets are practical. The characters especially Andy were great characters. Except for Navarro she was just a throw away character. And that’s thanks to…
