It’s not fair to compare this with any of the regular stuff that comes out today but it really is crazy, even putting aside the acting and the death defying stunts, how much it helps when the director has a solid vision for what the film is doing. It just immediately improves every aspect across the board, even when there’s a weaker element of the film at play!
