  Eye candy. Heartbreaking. Americana.

  This movie just makes you ache about what a person is trying to fix with their loved ones only to realize they were the problem.

  I hope to see a 35mm print of this because the cinematography and color grading is just jaw dropping. From the Texas sunsets to the fluorescent green glow of the lights at night, I could not stop pausing to soak in the scenery.

  This is getting placed high up on my top films of all time.

  Blood. Femme fatales. A henchman throwing a mouse at the protagonist as a distraction? I’m in. I was waiting for a full wolf transformation, but only found out after watching that Akira’s transformation was the addition of a unibrow lol. Great exploitation film with gallons of blood, funk music, and some wicked zooms.

Following
