Gorgeous movie…glorious movie…evil movie….more and more I think it captures The End Of A World - empty libraries. a man who only drinks beer at dinner serving you wine out of a juice glass. the phrase “a name off of a computer” said incredulously. ask someone who hasn’t seen this movie in a minute and they will swear to you they saw Gwyneth’s head in the box, and that is down to just how much Pitt performs the last bit like horror is just vomiting out of him. Restoration looks incredible.

Knock at the Cabin 2023
Everyone in this movie is giving genuinely great performances and it looks gorgeous (those magic hour scenes in particular) but there is absolutely no tension or surprise to it, which is the biggest possible flaw in a Shyamalan movie. The people behind me were REALLY determined to convince me that humanity shouldn’t exist anymore based on their movie theater behavior, one extra star to spite them.

Art and Patrick love each other and sublimate it into tennis, which is also Tashi; Tashi loves tennis and sublimates it into Art and Patrick. I wasn’t wrong about Zendaya but this uses her weaknesses properly; it fits the character that she seems practiced and out of place in the Adult Version because she’s frozen in this moment where she lost everything she wanted. Electric ending.
