the best part of the film was the depiction of how shitty people treat you when you do a job that they look down on (relatable). the rest was just okay. the aliens were super cute but the idea of a swarming army of crawling intelligent beasts calmed by their wounded baby being given back was taken directly from nausicaa and they did it better miao... a lot of other things were also just too on the nose and lazy.…
