  This film is not about superstitions, it’s about faith.

  Kinda strange to think the movie depicts the events that happened just 300 years before its creation. It’s not so far away if you think of it.

  I was thinking much about the Jungian archetype of the Shadow during the first part of the film and about how dark human soul can really be.

  The second part of the film was a bit more difficult to watch. They kinda lost me there. Still a good movie! 
  Very nice costumes, decorations and acting. Modern films look so fake when they try to show barns, or gallows or whatever.

  Watching Adam Curtis makes me feel like I’m baked. It feels as I’ve learned a lot but also what have I learnt really?
  Maybe that the stories we’ve been told are just stories.

  Fantastic narration as always. I think a lot about how he saved tones of rare footage that would have left unseen otherwise. 
  Thinking of „America spreading democracy for 250 years“ by stupid Bernie Sanders and my father fighting in Afghanistan. Also thinking about the privilege of not experiencing war.
