The animation was really pretty to look at, and an interesting look into an artist’s mind and how they never perceive themselves as “skilled” in their craft - constantly comparing themselves to others. O-Ei and O-Nao were so wholesome, too. 7/10

Saving Mr. Banks 2013
This is one of those films that has a beautiful, gut wrenching story, but is hard to rewatch because of the subject matter. Seeing PL Travers grow up with such a dysfunctional family was heartbreaking, and I love how she wrote the Mary Poppins book series to heal her inner child. I can understand why she was so defensive of her work being adapted faithfully. Tom Hanks and Emma Thompson were perfectly casted in this film, and they both delivered beautiful performances. ❤️
