Perfectly executed, with the right amount of twists and turns around every corner. If you're interested in watching something that will continuously fool you in the absolute best way possible, look no further.

Bob Ross is an idol of mine, and when I heard about this movie and the premise, I thought it could be interesting and have some potential, especially with having Owen Wilson as the lead.

It is clear that this is supposed to be a tribute to Bob Ross, with Carl Nargle carrying Bob’s iconic traits (the afro, the clothes, the voice, etc.), but to me, he deserves so much better than this.

I was not initially planning to see this, but a new friend wanted to see it and invited me, so I couldn't say no.
Long story short, this was honestly really good. Nice animation, smart writing, good humor, and solid emotional moments. One of the better Dreamworks films to come out in recent years. I had a fun time.

Off-topic fun fact: I think this is the first film that I have seen in theaters with someone who wasn't a family member.
