  this movie is so fucking sick, WHAT... I laughed, I cried, I got goosebumps at the final scene.... PEAK!!!!!!!!! the interview with the sea urchin and the kids was so good and funny and EUGH IT WAS SO MUCH FUNNNN

  (also, the competition hosts, rob & kelly, are voiced by actual professional surfers! that's so awesome)

  expected way more. felt like a feminism 101 and not empowering at all tbh. loved how they tackled barbie doll logic though and all the lil plastic things and it was sometimes funny and absurd! the woman montage and the mother-daughter quote made me sob like a baby and i wish the whole movie was Like That. instead, i am left disappointed by the janky plot and the lack of depth in the diverse cast that this movie promised to…
