  A pretty heart warming film with a nice message but not my cup of tea. This had great performances from the two leads but the cookie cutter plot that is pretty similar to Driving Ms. Daisy didn't keep my attention for most of it. I felt like this story could have been told better, it seemed like a product of Hollywood with it's very safe approach. There were moments that felt like it took risks but it never impacted the plot like it thought it did. This is a baseline film about racial injustice in the 60s with some good acting.
