Probably my most anticipated watch of the year and it really didn't disappoint.

Frances McDormand was astonishing, definitely her most memorable performance in recent years. The story was not something I was prepared for, I don't know much about the 2008 crash and what happened after, but this does a really good job at depicting what life must be like for the people that went through it.

One of the best limited series I've seen in a while. Tackling an important topic is always going to be difficult, but I struggle to see a way they could have gone about this better. Stephen Graham is unbelievable and Owen Cooper absolutely knocks it out of the park with a frightening and intense presence.

Will be watching this again very soon.

I knew I was going into a murder mystery, but the number of twists and turns was incredible, and whilst others have said how it…
