  I watched this at the tender age of 15, when I just went back from a 10 day trip in Seoul, where every single day I ate spicy food. That, coupled with the fiery pits of the Vietnamese summer weather, made my immune system collapse, and so I was ravaged by allergic reactions the whole week. When I watched this documentary, I was too feverish and got extremely angry at how Ken Burns focused so much on the American story, while Vietnamese people were dying in the background. This anger, turns out, fuelled my recovery from my allergy. So that's my story. Suck it, Ken Burns
