    Like an unfinished painting, there are sketches of something phenomenal but also sweeping swathes of blank canvas. 

    I loved the use of montage even if it did take away time that could have been spent fleshing out these quite superficial characters. Pamela Anderson is a fucking incredible actress and could probably make hoovering look compelling.

    Did I watch this whilst I was supposed to be doing my essay? YES!

    Did I still get my essay in? YES! 

    There’s one scene in this that just sticks out so purely to me, it’s just this shot of this woman reacting to all of these dancers, and the stank on her face is just so raw and powerful, and you can tell the reverence she has for her fellow performers and I just love it.

    For a film that revolves around the criticism of sexual exploitation and perversion, there seems to be an awful lot of sexual exploitation and perversion. The film is rife with explicit, graphic and entirely unnecessary sex scenes, that play out like a porn fantasy. 

    And the last fucking scene is ridiculous.
