The Substance 2024
I like the idea of the substance and the way it is used is interesting and so are the side effects, but overall it is not a new concept. Demi's acting was good in portraying loosing one's mind. I also liked the frames, especially with the star. But everything else, not so much. Even though it is supposed to be satire, to me it didn't feel like that but rather a very simple and poor way of telling the story about beauty standards. Also, the last scene is just laughable, Kill Bill did it better. Not impressed, expected more from the Oscar nominee.

Sick, disgusting and stupid. It's scary that so many people like this movie when it shows sexual deviation, dismembering of human body and sexual objectification of women. It's about time movies stop being so gory and perverted just so they can shock the audience.

Anatomy of a Fall 2023
Very bland. I could have spent my time better. It was okay, not good, not bad, just forgettable. Only two things that stood out from the monotony of the whole movie: the fight scene and the way the kid actor performed.
