  It’s a good thing Ayo Edebiri has such flawless skin or else I would have simply closed my eyes and kept them like that.
  I’m also genuinely perplexed by the Indigo and the sort of Hindu implications but then there’s a mysteriously highlighted portrait of the Mughals wearing Indigo??? A painting that I’m 95% sure does not exist??? It all meant a big fat nothing???

  I should have known better when I saw that the whole audience was white guys with Mullets. Alas, the stupid heart never learns. Tbh I’m sure I would have enjoyed this more if I was American but this really brings into question what being “American” even means. According to this film being cynical is cool and American. The ideal American is someone who questions everything and believes in nothing. How close minded it is to believe that cynicism is true…

  Sometimes I get the feeling like everything has already happened and life is simply passing me by. This movie makes me feel the opposite of that. Everything is inevitable but everything is possible.
