  I remember seeing Paris, Texas for the first time on my laptop almost five years back on a lazy afternoon.
  From the very opening shot, the Hawk, The Guitar score and Harry Dean Staton walking out of nowhere I knew this film is like none other out there and it stays true to its nature till the time the credits roll.

  It's been a while since I've seen anything so hauntingly moving throughout it's entire runtime, Carefully unfolding every layer of the story and the characters' actions that move the narrative filled with rollercoaster of emotions one fate at a time.

  Saim Sadiq's Joyland touches upon various themes of Masculinity, Gender-roles, Patriarchy, Societal norms and many other that govern the human lives in this complex ever-changing contemporary world.
