  jodie comer was absolutely amazing as per usual but ok so just to recap,

  the husband:
  - had no chemistry with her and was boring
  - was basically a man-baby
  - abandoned his wife and child in the middle of an fucking ecological crisis

  while the mom of the other baby/her friend:
  - had more chemistry with her and was not boring
  - was emotionally mature
  - clearly loved and was there for jodie's character

  and yet they made most of the plot revolve around jodie's character going back to find that boring ass man 😀
