having seen wicked at a formative age i was so scared i would be disappointed by the movie, but this was really good!! cynthia erivo was incredible, and i liked ariana’s performance a lot more than i thought i would. my only complaints are the colour grading/greyness, and the fact that it’s two parts. also i don’t understand where all the extra time is coming from!!! like there aren’t new songs or added story lines as far as i remember? anyway overall very fun !! by no means movie of the year or anything imo but a great adaptation 🩷
