  The Dark Knight 2008

  This is just a good movie. The movie is immediately able to pull you in with the beginning sequence of crime and leaves you wanting to know more about the Joker. The movie plays well on the moral dilemmas that many people face in their own lives while showing in on a much larger scale. It also shows how quickly people can become jaded by the society around them. If anything just watch the movie for Heath Ledger's performance as the Joker which is outstanding.

  I realize how revolutionary this movie is and how it should be appreciated for its combination of animation and real life but it is just not really my thing. I just was confused the whole time if the movie was meant for children or adults because it just felt like it was stuck in this weird limbo of having semi lewd jokes while still using animated characters and not having too serious of action and death in it. The storyline was also just not that compelling and the ending as well as reveal of the bad guy just wasn't that satisfying.

  This movie does a good job of offering a view into Hollywood from the perspective of a writer to actors. It shows the effects the industry could have on those who are involved or lack there of and how it could drive you mad in the ending. I think it did accomplish its purpose showing how slowly but surely Norma went crazy and had an unwillingness to let go of her fame and Hollywood past. I liked watching the movie…
