What Gena does isn't drag in a conventional way, it's pure performance art. It's fearless, positive kind of provocation that every society needs every once in a while. This is a very clear, delicately composed portrayal of Russian society as well as what it's like being visibly queer in Russia. No talking heads. Highly recommended.
