  the writing and direction was really poor which sucks bc the story of a working class deaf father who is struggling with his fishing business has so much potential!!!! until you decide to position it from the pov of the unlikable, whiny daughter using little to no aesthetic or cinematic visual finesse </3

  i will suspend disbelief for most things but you cannot tell me she got into berklee with that theatre-kid ass voice this film is a hate crime against all kids who actually got into berklee
