I loved this movie, every character is peculiar, weird, and funny in their own way, I got some Wes Anderson vibes from it and it was very different than Bong Joon Ho’s other movies that I’ve seen but I really liked that. Steven Yuen is hilarious and evil but everytime he’s in danger I still am yelling out for Bong to not kill him. Mark Ruffalo and Toni Colette are so funny and their performances are perfect. A lot of heart some great class commentary, and a cool world and concept, along with Elliot Smith; just a great movie

I don’t really know how to rate this movie because it is genuinely maybe the most intense and hard to watch movie that I’ve seen so far, the soundtrack and sense of impending doom that come across on characters faces creates this sense of dread that is unlike any movie I’ve ever seen before. One of my favorite romance/life movies I’ve seen. Really sweet message and progression of plot, it feels kind of like if Christopher Nolan made a movie about the joy of life instead of broken men trying to get back to their family (I love both)
