Been wanting to watch this since i was 18-19 years old. Was heavily into spoken word at the time. Wish i watched it then but it was still amazing to watch. It felt VERY indie/low budget, but apparently that was an issue with the director, which makes sense lmao BUT aside from some flat acting here and there, this film was super sick. The plot was cool but more importantly what this film stands for speaks volumes. Glad i finally got to watch this gem.

Holy shit, absolutely amazing! Watched off criterion, i had already read their synopsis so i knew how the film would unfold, i mention that cause it would effect how you perceive and digest the film. Personally i like being in the dark but i actually really liked knowing where the story was heading just cause it helped the film feel so cohesive and well put together. It was so thematically concrete and unique.
