honestly this show really did something for me. was maybe the joseon era costumes or nam yoon-su’s dimpled smile accompanying his unrequited love.. I lost sleep for this one. the political scheming and crown coveting amongst court minsters and the royal family are maybe more respectable reasons. the music is super corny k-pop ballad motifs that repeat over and over and there’s a lot of sword violence but not a lot of style.. the camera that they got to shoot close-ups of faces in all the loves me not scenes served them well for the bow and arrow shots tho. 5/5, my depression was monetarily cured.
