His subtleness of his characters mental state has one bewildered watching the film that the audience cannot distinguish reality from fiction. The main character, Caden, faces the end or death. Struggles with his psychosis as he begins to age as he does directs his plays. Building layers on layers of psychosis that the main character cannot escape. Creating a social dilema surrounded on the inevitable, death.
