Wrath of the Titans 2012
One of those "we'll do better this time" movies that some how manages to be of lesser quality on nearly every level. A poorly paced, incoherent story, stilted dialogue, and uninteresting action scenes make Clash look like the superior film.

Doesn't feature Cody's overindulgent dialogue but is still a really misguided attempt to feature an unconventional group of people. Had the potential of being pretty unique but settles into some familiar trappings down the home stretch.

An interesting premise, believable performances, and some extremely cool visuals are hampered down by director Josh Trank's decision to take the found footage genre and mesh it with the superhero origin story. In parts it does work, but mostly the film succeeds because everything else is so great.

Safe House 2012
As predictable a Denzel movie as they come, but nonetheless highlighted by decent performances from both Washington and Ryan Reynolds. Unfortunately nothing about the movie feels remarkable or interesting, and it's pretty ironic that the word safe is in the title.
